Attorney with over 35 years of professional experience in corporate, contractual, and arbitration law. Founding partner of the law firm A&F Allende Ferrante Abogados. His career is distinguished in the field of business law, particularly in matters related to commercial contracts and corporate law. Throughout his extensive career, he has advised international companies on establishing and developing their presence in Argentina, as well as on significant transactions within the country. Notable foreign companies he has worked with include Citibank, HSBC Bank, Agrium, Voith Hydro, The Home Depot, Decathlon, Lacoste, McDonald’s, Kimberly Clark, Tavistock, Clorox, Monsanto, ADP, Arkema, Motorola, Kainos, Niu, Carrefour, and Lycra.
Recent prominent advisory roles include representing Telefónica de España in the sale of the Telefe TV channel to the Viacom group; advising Kainos, a multinational company, on the acquisition of local software firms; representing Voith Hydro Inc. in the international tender process for Yacyretá (Aña Cuá branch) for the manufacturing and installation of three hydroelectric turbines; and facilitating the establishment of oil and gas exploration companies in the Vaca Muerta region.
He is a doctoral candidate at the University of Buenos Aires (UBA), a regular professor of Commercial Law at UBA, and has completed postgraduate studies at the same institution. He holds an LLM from Suffolk University and is an active member of international legal organizations (such as IBA, Lexwork, etc.). He has lectured in Argentina and abroad on commercial law, corporate law, and arbitration. He is the author of several publications and a book, and has been repeatedly recognized as a leader in the Corporate/M&A sector in Argentina by Chambers and Partners and Latin Lawyer.
A passionate supporter of public interest causes, he dedicates part of his practice to pro bono activities, including advising, training, and representing numerous NGOs such as Chequeado and Conciencia. In recent years, he has focused on the study of sustainability principles, circular economy, and ESG principles, exploring their practical application in the field of law, particularly corporate law. He has completed postgraduate courses on these topics in the United States, including Berkeley University and MIT, where he obtained the title of Chief Sustainability Officer (CSO).
